Leroy Yoder started building homes in 1963 and formed Garden Homes in 1976. Since then, Garden Homes has built over 4,000 homes. Unique home designs, coupled with quality craftsmanship and value, have earned the company a word-of-mouth reputation that has allowed us to grow to be one of Michiana's largest home builders.
Garden Homes has also been developing communities since 1976. We have either developed or have been closely involved in the development of twenty communities with over 2,300 building sites, including nine villa condominium developments.
As a prestigious custom homebuilder, (twice published in Woman's Day Magazine) we became aware that many people who admired our custom homes wanted the same quality and designs in a less costly price range so we set a goal to design and build smaller homes as well. Our home designs are not unique by chance. We travel the country looking at what the industry has to offer, and then we incorporate our own ideas with the best of the industry, creating homes that appeal to a wide range of homebuyers. At the moment we have houses in progress priced from $80,000 to over $700,000.
Leroy Yoder has also provided leadership to the local Michiana community and the building community within Indiana.
