Garden Homes posted record sales for the month of October, 2007. E. Leroy Yoder, President of Garden Homes says October 2007 sales statistics indicate one of the best October’s in the last ten years, exceeded only by October 2003. At a time when much of the country is talking about a slump in the housing market, Garden Homes continues to do well. In a recent article released by S&P/Chase-Shiller price statistics show new home prices have increased between 50%-84% from 2002 through August, 2007, throughout much of the country. Yoder points out prices at Garden homes have increased only 17% (an average of 2.8% per year) during the same timeframe. “Our homes remain a great value compared to homes in other areas of the country”, he says.
